The FindBugs analysis engine currently tests for around 300 different bug patterns. It can be run from the command line, from a variety of build tools including Ant, Cruise Control, Hudson and Maven, from a standalone Swing GUI, or from the Eclipse and NetBeans IDEs via a plug-in.
